Cash Lesley, Managing Editor
Part time mountainside student, full time shark enthusiast. Cash Lesley is a longtime lover of sharks and has a dream of turning his love for them into a career. Cash says “in elementary school I used to read a lot of nonfiction, that’s all I did, and part of that was sharks”. Cash claims his “end goal” in life is to discover a new type of shark. Anyone close to Cash knows about his passion for the sea creature. Beyond his love for sharks, Cash lives with his mom, dad, younger brother, and his pets; a dog named lego and a cat named cat. He is well aware his pets have rather unique names. He was not born in Oregon but he sure was raised here. He moved to the Beaverton area at about one month old from California which may be a disappointment for Cash as he prefers sunny weather but we sure are happy to have him here in Oregon.
Cash hopes to invest more time into Journalism this year as he was not able to in previous years. This year Cash has been named our very own copy editor. If you see Cash around the halls of Mountainside, strike up a conversation, he is an extremely friendly and welcoming peer.
