Kayley Ramirez, Staff Reporter

Kayley Ramirez is a writer for the A&E department for Mountainside's The Peak. While having joined The Peak in her senior year, Ramirez has been going to Mountainside since she was a junior, before which she went to Tigard high school. Ramirez has had pets for as long as she can remember, which is to be expected given her more rural upbringing before eventually moving to Beaverton. As of now she has a bunny, 5 cats, and 2 dogs, and while she likes them all she openly admits that Gipsy, her husky, is her favorite.

Ramirez is very creative in nature, with some of her passions including drawing and animation, though her interest in the arts is nearly all encompassing. This extends to her love of music. According to Ramirez, her friends tend to consider her tastes as "grandma music", which she has translated into essentially meaning slow (and sometimes sad) songs. While she doesn’t agree with her preferred music being considered sad and grandma-like, she will admit that she prefers mellow tunes, as well as some older songs from bands like The Beatles.

Ramirez is currently planning on following her passion for art to the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
